Accommodation

Enjoy the entire 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Homestead. Bring your family and friends for an immersive experience that includes walking paths in an old growth forest, a wealth of native plants, metre high ant hills, a rare little brown bat colony, paddling on the lake (bring your own watercraft) and visits to local artisan businesses, spas and restaurants. Guided forest tours available on request for an added fee of $25/person. Custom arrangements can be made for longer stays.

The Homestead can easily host your private stay, a family get-together or 4-person corporate event. It sleeps six in the three themed bedrooms, each room fitted with premium mattresses and soft, organic bamboo sheets. You’ll enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen with a nearby bbq, large dining room, and a living room overlooking the lake.

During a 14 month renovation in 2018 where we took the structure right down to the logs and joists, we completely updated everything from the electrical, plumbing and water systems and a new energy-efficient heating system. The result is a comfortable home with all the modern conveniences, and a delightful rustic décor.

In every room of the Homestead, you’ll experience a showcase of innovative design and wood creations – from hand-built bed platforms using lumber milled on site, to live-edge headboards, arbutus branch legs on the kitchen island, an arbutus chandelier and tree slab coffee table.
