The Journal

WE HAVE ENTERED AN ERA OF CHANGE IN FOREST USE... The debate is no longer "should we change," but "how." The challenge is to give a voice to those who are embracing ecologically responsible methods of forest use. If you are among those concerned about or directly affected by forest use and management, you will want to read this journal. Our growing audience includes: private forest landowners, private/public forest land managers, community and non-profit forestry groups, foresters, ecosystem/forestry consultants, value-added processors and manufacturers, and self-employed forest workers, i.e. selective loggers, horse loggers, and special forest product harvesters.

Ecoforestry, formerly known as the International Journal of Ecoforestry, is published by the Ecoforestry Institute, a registered charitable organization.
